his and hers creative spaces

i thought i would keep you up to date with the addition to my creative space. after a quick call to a very knowledgeable blogger by the name of Linda from lilly cottage, i retracted my wish for a card table and put in an order for a sturdier resin table. i am very glad that i listened to the advise and i am very happy (so are my knees and back) with my new foldable table. it was so nice to spread all of my things out on this table and still have room for my cuppa!
it will be perfect for the new lap top my school gave me and mick and i will both be able to work on it. i can hear you asking 'what is wrong with using your kitchen table?' well the light from the kitchen keeps the baby up and i like to watch a bit of TV and be with my husband when the kids have finally gone to sleep. the portability also means that i can use it in the study where the sewing machine lives.
i thought i might show you mister moos creative space...
this is his favourite place to be but he dreams of a much larger shed...
and here are three things we created together
our finest creations!
have a great weekend %*_*%rosey

my creative space...

hands up if you have a little bit of a voyeuristic nature? that's it Anita hold up two hands :) the lovely Rebecca of edward and lilly holds a ~my creative space~ post each week and i wait with baited breath to see what lovely neat space she has on offer. i decided to show you my creative space after i cut out the items i will be sending off in my 'pay it forward' parcels.
here we have 3 mini babushkas, 3 scented birds and 3 sweet hearts waiting to be stitched. they are arranged neatly on my ironing board. (eeekkkk ignore my extremely dull ironing board cover!)
i find it so much easier to do all of my cutting out at night when crazy cat clauds is in bed, that way i can stitch during the day when she isn't annoying me :) the photo below shows the real creative space and the reason why i do all of this at night when she is asleep.
click on this to make it larger and get a better feel for the creative process. i do actually have a nicer space than this to store all of my gorgeous fabrics and crafts but there really isn't a table in there. i have ordered mister moo to go out tomorrow and buy me a simple card table that i can fold out anywhere i wish. perhaps the osteoporosis that is happening in my knees will ease if i don't kneel on them for hours on end!
anyhow head of to edward and lilly, you wont be disappointed.
very tired now not sure i have even made sense.
mmmwwaahh goodnight rosey
