the problem with all of this is that now they can spell too... so gone are the days of mister moo and i being able to spell things out like 'what are you having for S W E E T S when the children go to bed' or ' i am just ducking out to the S H O P S'. i guess i will just have to G R I N and B E A R it :)

Hahahaha that made me laugh...don't you hate that! Tim and I have become expert at the game Taboo...you know when you have to get people to say a word without using any of the keywords you would normally use...so instead of saying shops..you would say....the convenience at which our bank balance disappears regularly to maintain the family...you know..or like my Mum and Dad would say, gone to see a man about a dog....I always thought we were getting a puppy!

I loved being about to figure out what my parents were spelling...and I really loved knowing what was going on when they were spelling things in front of my little brother.
