now onto some serious 'bushka' love. one of my work mates recently told me that there was a babushka t-shirt in the young womens section of 'tar jey' (target), i often sneak into that section hoping no young thang will glare at me and sniff in contempt. i was lucky enough to find this little beauty on the fringes of the section and raced away to the fitting rooms before anyone yelled out... 'stop that OLD LADY she has something from the wrong section of the shop'
isnt it sweet!
the best thing about it is that it has three babushka dolls.. one for each of my girls. we have decided starting left that they are MIA, LILI and CLAUDIA. i just love it! the shirt inspired me to paint a little one in the hopes of actually making another one, one day. here is my effort of a water colour picture.
then the girls wanted one too...
the girls had fun adding water to these.then after bath time i found this little rascal on the couch after some sort of tantrum.
so then the other two had to get in on the act...
dont you just feel like coming over and babysitting them??? he he he
ok i am off to mop the floors and bake something, and shine my halo :)
